Fast Bike BattlesRoad Rash is a competition game from Electronic Arts, which features street motorcycle racing with fights against other racers and cops. There were six different gateways released on gaming platforms in the 90s. This version was a PC port that had realistic graphics at the time. It has a simple racing mechanic where the motorcycle stops on the same horizontal axis as you turn by moving left or right. Physics influences how a motorcycle moves in sharp turns, ramps, hills and uneven terrain so that players can use the terrain to launch themselves at long distances or be hit by accident. Every competitor, including players, has an endurance bar and running out of endurance causes a Wipeout. Players can cause damage to rival drivers but they should be careful when hit by obstacles or attacks. They can steal weapons by hitting or kicking rival riders, some of which are cows, chains, clubs, bird lanes, nunchaku and pipes. Police will also try to catch the riders who were left behind. Everyone arrested by the police will be fired and the race will be over for them. By completing the competition, players can purchase upgrades or new motorcycles.
